Understanding Loox5 Light Strips

Light strips are a great way to add ambience or task lighting due to their low profile and flexible build. Easily install strips under cabinets, behind televisions, in bathrooms, in closets, and many other uses.

Loox5 light strips are designed to be cut down to your desired length, ensuring a perfect fit in any space. Each light strip model is marked with lines to show where it's safe to resize your strip.

How do I diffuse the light from my LED light strips?

Adding mounting profiles to your light strip configuration is a great way to diffuse lighting with uniform light distribution. Mounting profiles are rigid, aluminum enclosures designed to accommodate light strips. They feature a translucent window that diffuses the individual light points coming off the strips. Installing Light Strips

Light strips connect directly into distributors, adapters, and drivers via main power leads to supply necessary power. Interconnecting power leads connect light strips together for extended lighting, perfect for providing ambiance under cabinets or illuminating spots with long furniture. Both main power leads and interconnecting cables appear as options on all light strip product pages and are available in multiple lengths to fit your configuration.

Understanding Loox5 Puck Lights

Puck lights offer a sleek and versatile solution for illuminating your spaces for both task and ambient lighting. These compact, low-profile fixtures are designed to seamlessly integrate into either residential or commercial locations.

Installing Puck Lights

Just like light strips, puck lights require a power cable to connect to distributors, adapters, and drivers. There are a few pucks available that have power cables permanently connected and will be stated on its page's description. For pucks that require the cable look for the option, Power Lead with Snap in Connector, on the product page to include in your purchase.

Connect last generation's Loox devices, including pucks, to Loox5 drivers and distributors with the Loox LED Devices to Loox5 LED Distributors Adapters. The previous generation of pucks require an adapter to connect to modern systems. On those specific puck's product pages you will find an option titled "Loox Device Adapter" that you can select to include an adapter.

Loox5 offers different color types and temperatures to set the perfect ambiance. Monochrome lights offer a permanent color temperature while multi white lights allow wireless manipulation with a smartphone or Loox5 remote control.
